Terms and Conditions
The normal check-in time is between 3:00pm and 7:00pm. Check-out time is by 11:00am; other times by prior arrangement. It is helpful if we know your approximate arrival time. We will do our best to fulfill any orders for early check-in (no Saturdays) and late check-out (no Fridays).
Small standing BBQ pit/grill outside of each cabin for use with charcoal only. No exceptions!
No outside fires allowed except in the two designated fire pits (unless the fire danger is high and no fires are allowed at all, including charcoal).
One vehicle per cabin for parking in front of the room. Additional vehicles need to park in a shared parking area.
The septic system demands that we be cautious of what we discard into kitchen drains and toilets. A list of non-acceptable items is provided in each room. When in doubt - don't. Nobody likes a backed up septic.
Guests are provided one towel and one wash cloth per person. Those are expected to last for your stay (unless your stay is more than a week).
There are skunks, raccoons, bears and birds of prey that frequent the area. Please be sure to seal trash securely.
No smoking in the rooms. Whenever smoking please use extra precaution as this is a heavily wooded area with lots of tinder on the ground. A $100 discovery charge will be applied for any smoking inside a room.
Freestanding Cabins have a minimum 2 night stay (Not applicable to
Trail Bunk (tandem) units, Pony Express (motel) units & the one
1-night stay Cabin)
Rooms that have fireplaces do not include any firewood. Duraflame logs are available for purchase.
Only Duraflame or similar type manufactured logs are acceptable for use in indoor fireplaces. Traditional firewood is not allowed.
Having a good time is encouraged, but you may not be disruptive to other patrons. Use common courtesy.
Pets are not allowed to be left alone in cabins (unless very briefly and in a crate) and must be on a
leash when outside. We do not provide pet crates or leashes.
Pets must immediately be cleaned up after. For your
convenience we have scoops located in a couple of areas.
A discovery fee of $100 per occurrence will be added for any
undisclosed people or pets.
No furniture within the rooms should be moved without getting permission from the office manager first (I.e. beds, tables, etc.)
Firearms must be disclosed to the office manager upon arrival. Additionally, paintball and BB guns are not allowed for use on the property.
Guests are expected to do some minimal housekeeping: wash dishes, sweep up and clean the fireplace out (which means sweeping out ashes and putting them in the outside "ash can"). Do NOT use towels or linens to clean out the fireplace. The bedding, toilet and shower will be handled by our cleaning folks. If the place is left a mess a minimum $25 fee will be assessed.
We expect all guests to follow the good general rule of leaving a place better than you found it. For nearly 60 years this historic lodge and Christopher Creek have been one of the most beautiful places in Arizona and we want to keep it that way. All rooms receive a post-occupancy inspection and vandalism or theft of any kind will be dealt with appropriately.
If you are discourteous or disrespectful -- please do not book a reservation with us. If you plan on using the lodge grounds as a repository for your cigarette butts, or plan on bringing a dog but not having it on a leash, or if you plan to ignore all of the fire restriction laws when in effect – please do not book a reservation with us. It is our sincere intent to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all of our guests.
Christopher Creek Lodge is comprised of real log cabins and set right in the middle of the forest. We provide a peaceful and cozy getaway. We are not a campground nor are we Caesars Palace.
This is a rustic environment. As such, it is your responsibility to take care of yourself and your dependants. We are not liable for any accidents, injuries or loss of any kind.
Because we sadly sometimes have to turn people away, all sales are final and there is no refund for cancellation (this includes inclement weather).
We reserve the right to refuse service.
Thank you very much for your patronage and we look forward to your arrival!
